Jessica Alba and Olivia Palermo have long been the reigning queens of celebrity street style (denim edition), but we think they might have an Oscar-winning contender for the top title coming up right on their heels. Anne Hathaway has been stepping out in her Brooklyn neighborhood in one head-turning denim ensemble after another, and we’re ready to discuss.
From left, the actress stepped out in a look worth borrowing for this weekend’s brunch: a pretty micro-print skirt with a J Brand denim jacket buttoned to the top and studded, buckled oxblood booties to cut the sweetness of the skirt. Next, she showed off another new way to style her growing-out pixie, tucking it into a snapback hat to top her sporty/girlie ensemble of a striped skirt, front-tied tank, platform sneaks and that same denim jacket.

Third up is her most controversial outfit (in the PEOPLE StyleWatch offices, anyway): a wide-legged, scoop-necked chambray onesie, worn with Ancient Greek sandals and a fun striped tote. And finally, she stepped out in a super-chic way to wear jean shorts — with a crisp button-up, cat-eye shades and slip-ons — though her super-adorable new accessory certainly helps elevate the outfit.
