HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Robert De Niro and Ben Stiller’s Little Fockers had ticket sales of $26.3 million to hang onto the weekend box office title, according to studio estimates released Sunday.
The sequel outlasted the Jeff Bridges and Matt Damon western True Grit, which finished No. 2 for the second straight weekend with $24.5 million.
Bridges also had the No. 3 film with Disney’s sci-fi reboot Tron: Legacy at $18.3 million, while Dan Aykroyd’s Yogi Bear finished fourth with $13 million.
The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader rounded out the weekend top five at $10.5 million.
Weekend Box Office: December 31, 2010 to January 2, 2011:
1. Little Fockers, $26.3 million.
2. True Grit, $24.5 million.
3. Tron: Legacy, $18.3 million.
4. Yogi Bear, $13 million.
