Scandal has won our hearts with intense storylines, but let’s be honest, it’s really about the clothes! Because at the end of the day, no plot point can grab our attention like those fierce white coats.
And no, we can’t all take Washington by storm, but now we can certainly look the part with the just-announced Scandal collaboration set to hit The Limited. And no surprise here, Kerry Washington will lend Olivia Pope’s attention to detail to the collection. She told WWD, “People who love the look of the show can now step into this world in a way that is affordable and accessible because not everybody can afford to have the clothes they see on the show.”
Also on hand to ensure the collection – set to range from $49 to $248 – will stay true to the show’s aesthetic, costume designer Lyn Paolo will put her signature spin on the line with wide-leg trousers and crisp outerwear. And if the below sketches are any indication, Olivia Pope’s presence will be felt in more locales than just DC when the 42-piece collaboration launches in 250 Limited mall-based stores and online in September.
