HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Sophie Monk is making wedding plans!
The 31-year-old star is engaged to businessman Jimmy Esebag, she announced Tuesday while filling in on the Australia radio station 2Day FM.
"He’s a keeper," Monk said of her 50-year-old fiancé, who is the CEO of United Licensing Group, which owns the rights to the Playboy brand, and is also involved with Elite Modeling Agency.
"It feels right," she added. "I think you know when you know."
The model and actress said the two have been friends for some time. "I’m marrying a male version of myself," explained Monk, "which is dangerous but good."
Monk was previously engaged to musician Benji Madden, but the pair split in 2008. Since their breakup, she’s been linked to the likes of actor Kevin Connelly and television personality Ryan Seacrest.
