HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Charlie Sheen was rushed to the hospital Thursday morning after what has been described as a "36-hour bender."
Sheen, 45, was taken by ambulance from his Beverly Hills home around 7 a.m. to nearby Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. A 911 call was placed from his home after the actor complained of severe stomach pains, sources tell TMZ.
The Two and a Half Men star’s condition wasn’t immediately known, but it has been described as "serious." His parents, actor Martin Sheen and wife Janet, are reportedly at the hospital, along with his ex-wife, actress Denise Richards.
Sheen reportedly kicked off the party session on Tuesday, when he was joined by several others, including at least two porn stars. At one point, he allegedly had a "briefcase full of cocaine" delivered to his pad, a source at the house told TMZ.
It is the latest setback for the Emmy-winning star, whose behavior was recently dubbed a "high level of concern" by CBS entertainment chief Nina Tassler.
