If there’s one pre-Emmys party that does it right, it’s Audi’s.
The bubbly was flowing, the hor d’oeuvres were bountiful and the list of celebrity attendees was surreal!
From a very pregnant Zoe Saldana to Breaking Bad’s Aaron Paul to Modern Family stars Julie Bowen, Ty Burrell and Eric Stronestreet, Downton Abbey’s Michelle Dockery and Orange is the New Black‘s Taryn Manning and Dascha Polanco, TV’s hottest actors were mingling amongst one another for a seriously star-studded evening.
One of my favorite moments of the evening was when Julie Bowen couldn’t help but run up to Dascha Polanco, gushing about how much she’s obsessed with Orange is the New Black. Of course Polanco, who has risen to major fame through her role as Daya on the show, was quite humbled by the comment.
Also noteworthy, I happened to overhear Bowen—who donned an incredible orange, studded Herve Leger dress—telling Michelle Dockery she hadn’t eaten a carb in 5 years, explaining her envy over the fact that Dockery can eat scones whenever she wants without gaining a pound (if that’s not the most Hollywood thing ever, I don’t know what is).
The evening also marked the first time Zoe Saldana and her husband Marco Perego made their first public appearance together since Zoe confirmed her pregnancy earlier this week. The couple looked absolutely gorgeous on the red carpet!
Finally, the evening wouldn’t be complete if I didn’t take a selfie with Aaron Paul. The Breaking Bad star spent the evening mingling with pretty much every person there—including Jon Voight, Jesse Metcalfe and Derek Hough—so much so that I heard his wife Lauren Paul say they had been trying to get to the bar for 30 minutes, but Aaron kept getting swooped up into one conversation after another!
But I mean, can you blame everyone? He’s one of the coolest people ever!
