Gwyneth Paltrow doesn’t do anything halfway, and that includes playing cowgirl for a week. The actress and Goop lifestyle guru went to Big Sky Country recently (yep, Montana — read all about it here) and one of her souvenirs was this fresh-faced selfie, complete with rancher hat, plaid top and not a hint of makeup.
Paltrow visited the Paws Up dude ranch in Missoula with her children Apple, 10, and Moses, 8, where they enjoyed activities including trail rides, campfires and ATV riding. And even she poked fun at her big-city-girl-on-the-farm demeanor, posting a photo on Goop that she captioned “#cityslicker.” But it seemed like she got the hang of it by the end, if her big smile (and clean face) are any indication.

Of course, because it’s Goop, the trip had to be merched appropriately — you can get “dress the part” for your own dude ranch trip with a $665 Isabel Marant blanket coat, $1,695 puffy vest and $160 jean shorts. But at least you’ll save on foundation and mascara?
