Vanessa Hudgens has always been a trendsetter — but now it’s official after the Spring Breakers actress received the Trendsetter gong at the 2014 Young Hollywood Awards ceremony.

True to her new title, the 25-year-old star wowed on the blue carpet, sporting a halterneck Bongo crop top, paired with some high-waisted Badgley Mischka pants, revealing a flash of her impressively toned abs as she arrived at Los Angeles’ Wiltern Theatre on Sunday, July 27.
The actress blew kisses to fans as she posed for snaps before she walked the line at the hugely popular award show for Hollywood’s brightest young stars.

Hudgens’ date for the evening was her little sister Stella Hudgens, 18, who wore a short, low cut jumpsuit for her big night.
But despite being a big hit on the carpet, a source told Us Weekly that the sisters weren’t totally prepared for the show. When the ceremony’s first segment paused for a commercial, the sisters “literally ran out for a bathroom break,” the source revealed to Us.

Then, when it came to collecting her Trendsetter Award, the slender actress was “tangled in her seat, so Chris French helped her [get up],” the source added. When she did eventually get to the stage however, Hudgens was a pro, and in her list of thanks she paid tribute to the 1970s for being so “psychedelically amazing!”
