There is no bad blood between Demi Lovato and Joe Jonas.
The former couple proved that they can be friendly exes when they reunited onstage over the weekend for a duet.
Joining his ex-girlfriend at Los Angeles’ Staples Center on Saturday night, Jonas surprised thousands of fans to sing “This Is Me” from their 2008 Disney Channel movie, Camp Rock.
“Tonight was amazing. Fun keeping this a secret @ddlovato,” Jonas tweeted before posting an Instagram video of their join sound check from earlier that day.
Lovato, 22, and Jonas, 25, previously dated Lovato in 2010. According to an essay Jonas penned in 2012, Lovato was the who convinced him to try weed for the first time.
“We were just kids. That’s the reality. We were frightened little kids. So you got all this responsibility that’s foisted upon you and you’re expected to be perfect,” he said. “The first time I smoked weed was with Demi and Miley. I must have been 17 or 18. They kept saying, ‘Try it! Try it!’ so I gave it a shot, and it was all right. I don’t even smoke weed that often anymore.”
