Young journalists take note: if you’re interviewing talent for a movie he or she is in, watch the movie first.
Apparently, this is something foreign to Denver reporter Chris Parente, who talked to Bill Hader and Kristen Wiig about The Skeleton Twins last week.
When Parente asked Wiig about a nude scene — something that does not exist in The Skeleton Twins but rather in Wiig’s other film Welcome to Me — Wiig and Hader took the opportunity to teach the guy a lesson.
Parente should’ve closed the already embarrassing episode on a moderately high note (he made the actors laugh, didn’t he?) but no, he made the scene even more painful when he asked about Muppets. Nice try, buddy.
