Leave it to Saturday Night Live to come to the rescue of Kelly Ripa and Gelman in holding auditions to replace Regis Philbin.
With Nasim Pedrad doing a perfect Kelly, almost the entire cast got up to bat in one of the best skits of the night.
The stand-out — as always — the fabulous Bill Hader doing Garrison Keillor, and guest host Jason Segal did an admirable job with his smarmy Antonio Banderas trying to get the job.
