In very un-royal like fashion, Pippa Middleton wore short jean shorts (gasp!) while in London on Monday, Aug. 11. Her older sister, Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton‘s love of denim — albeit full-length J Brand skinny jeans — has been well documented on official and nonofficial duties. However, Pippa’s cutoff jorts are a surprisingly bare look for the royal-in-law, whose casual street style tends to include more knee-skimming skirts and sheaths.

While shopping on Kings Road with boyfriend Nico Jackson, Middleton, 30, seemingly went without makeup for her sporty look. The British socialite and entrepreneur paired her tame take on Daisy Dukes with a short-sleeved white polo, white cap, and sneakers.
Even though the cutoffs were indeed short, there was no butt cleavage a la Selena Gomez to be seen. Instead, the fitted pair modestly showed off her world-famous rear and toned legs.
Middleton is no stranger to short shorts. During the Race Across America charitable bike race, the ever-sporty Pippa wore customary spandex shorts, which left little to the imagination.
