Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have been pretty honest about their “old school” ways when it comes to technology. They don’t use Facebook, Twitter or Instagram, and Jolie (though she’s good at taking selfies) says she’d rather write things down in a notebook than on internet for the world to see.
So when it comes to their six children using the World Wide Web, the parents really have no idea what they’re doing or how to protect them… Which is why they had to hire a cyber security team to help them out (because when you’re Brangelina you can do that).
“We have someone who monitors that,” she told People magazine when asked how she makes sure her kids stay safe on the Internet. “It’s a scary new world.”
Jolie explained that she and her hubby decided to hire a cyber security team to monitor the things their children come across browsing the web or using social media.
“It’s so beyond what we understand,” the actress confesses. “We wouldn’t even know what to look for.”
The Unbroken director even admits she’s glad this type of technology wasn’t around when she was growing up. “I got in enough trouble,” she says. “It just would have been very documented.”
