Just yesterday Amanda Bynes was confessing her dreams of being Britney Spears, but now she’s decided she wants to do something a bit more promising for her future: become a scholar!
The 28-year-old actress, who was kicked out of the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandise for cheating, took a tour of the University of Southern California on Wednesday and is now hoping to become a Trojan.

After being released from a psychiatric hold in October, Bynes was all over the place–sleeping on couches in Los Angeles malls, making it rain in hotel lobbies and continuing to accuse her father of sexual abuse. However, over the last month or so the troubled star has remained pretty low key.
She emerged yesterday on the USC campus, walking with just a tour guide and an assistant in order to keep a low profile.
An eyewitness tells E! News, “She was on a tour, came in and she was just looking around the cafeteria. She was on a cart tour. She was dressed super casually, but she had her big sunglasses on. She was with just a tour guide and an assistant-type of person. I could tell she was really low key about it all.”
But was there any drama? “It was hard to tell if she was happy/excited to be there because of the sunglasses,” the source explains. “She was covering the side of her face at a point but nothing too dramatic.”
Well, she definitely seems gung ho about it on Twitter! Perhaps she’ll join Patrick Schwarzenegger and Miley Cyrus at a Trojan football game next season!
