We’d like to interrupt your regular programming to bring you the news that Rachel McAdams has ditched her blonde locks.
Well, sort of.
Over the weekend, the Canadian actress was spotted at Los Angeles International Airport with a new ‘do: shorter, darker hair with blonde tips. (In the hair world, this dye job is better known as “ombré.”)

Longtime fans of The Notebook actress will know that this new ‘do is not that big of a stretch. Remember McAdams’ pink phase?
McAdams is slated to start production on the second season of True Detective, opposite fellow leads Colin Farrell and Vince Vaughn.
