Unlike many of her pop star companions, it didn’t take a nip slip or a vagina flash for Rita Ora to cause a ruckus across the pond… All it took was a poor outfit choice.
The 22-year-old songstress made an appearance on BBC’s The One Show on Tuesday, wearing a plunging blazer without a shirt underneath, which gave TV viewers and the studio audience quite a bit of cleavage–a little too much cleavage, if you ask them.
After nearly 400 reported complaints abut the Fifty Shades of Grey star’s boobalicious showcase, the BBC felt it necessary to issue an apology.
“We’re sorry to those of you who were offended by Rita’s choice of outfit on The One Show on 5 January,” The One Show‘s website read. “If we had been consulted on it we would have requested she wore something more suitable for 7pm.”
However, Rita already fully anticipated tons of criticism coming her way after she replaced Kylie Minogue on The Voice U.K.
“Opinions are going to come from everywhere. I mean they already have been but this time they will be 10 times more intense,” she told Newsbeat in an interview before appearing on The One Show. “I’ve got to come to the reality, I am going to be an open book for the public.”
