Prince William and Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, have confirmed the due date of their second child, and it’s close to a date that already holds a special meaning to the couple. Kensington Palace announced on Monday that Kate Middleton is due to give birth sometime in April 2015. The couple announced back in September that the duchess is pregnant with the couple’s second child. This means that Kate is currently around two-months pregnant, and was barely one month pregnant when the pair announced their happy news. The royals were forced to make the pregnancy announcement early (most couples wait for the three or four-month mark) because the duchess is currently suffering from severe morning sickness, the same illness she came down with when she was pregnant with Prince George. Kate’s current battle with her illness has already forced her to cancel several appearances, including her first-ever solo overseas trip to Malta. (Prince William went in her place.) In fact, Kate hasn’t been seen publicly since August 5, although she is currently set to join William for a royal engagement on Tuesday to welcome Singapore President Tony Tan Keng Yam to England.
