Ryan Gosling had the perfect date to bring to the premiere of his new film at the Toronto International Film Festival: his co-star and real-life gal pal Eva Mendes.
On Friday, Gosling, 31, and Mendes, 38, hit the red carpet in Toronto, Canada to promote their new crime drama The Place Beyond The Pines.
In between cast photos and fan encounters, the pair stayed close and held hands at the red carpet affair.
Mendes donned a gorgeous black-and-white Dolce&Gabbana lace dress and a black silk headband while Gosling looked dapper in a Gucci suit.
The two were also joined by co-star Bradley Cooper and the film’s director Derek Cianfrance.
The film marks the second collaboration between Gosling and Cianfrance, who worked together on 2010’s Blue Valentine, co-starring Michelle Williams.
The Place Beyond The Pines stars Gosling as a motorcycle stunt rider who plays with the idea of committing a crime when he needs to provide for his new baby. Rose Byrne and Ray Liotta also appear in the film.
