Sheer delight!
For her last few red carpet appearances, Kristen Stewart has made some unique sartorial choices. (Leather skirteralls, anyone?) But at the Still Alice screening in Hollywood on Wednesday, Nov. 12, the former Twilight star looked every bit the rock-and-roll princess we know she can be.

The Chanel model, 24, chose one of the French fashion house’s designs for her latest film’s AFI Fest 2014 screening—a graphic-print black and white dress with a sheer bodice. While Stewart nixed the Chanel-logo skinny belt that cinched the piece on the runway, she did add an adorable pair of Mary Jane peep-toes to complete her ensemble.

Not only was her style on point, but her beauty choices were flawless, too! The actress’ brunette tresses, recently chopped into a pixie, were styled by celeb hairstylist Giannandrea into a side-parted ‘do. Giannandrea (who also works with Jessica Alba and Lily Collins) told Us Weekly that he added volumizer to the top of Stewart’s ‘do. He then slicked her locks back on the sides with a little bit of oil by Macadamia Professional for a “rocker chic” look.

On her eyes, Stewart worked a silver eye makeup—both below and above her lash lines—that complemented her multihued dress. Pink cheeks and a rose-hued lip let her metallic eye makeup hold center stage. (For a similar statement eye, use Les 5 Ombres de Chanel palette in the limited-edition mix of metallics called “Oiseaux de Nuit”.)
But while we were enamored by her style, Stewart was busy gushing over her own girl crush: her costar Julianne Moore. “It was a blessing [that Moore joined Still Alice]. We couldn’t imagine anyone else doing this role,” Stewart told Us at the event. “It was just a complete pleasure every day to work with Julie.”

And no wonder: Moore, 53, is already receiving Oscar buzz for her role in the indie film, about a woman with early-onset Alzheimer’s disease. “Because of [Moore’s] intense preparations and commitment to the role, we saw this incredible performance unfolding,” Stewart shared. “Everyone on set could feel it—the other actors knew it, the crew knew it, the guys driving the grip trucks knew it. There was something special going on.”
