Lacey Chabert bucked the trend of wearing a wedding dress only once — in a very public way. The Party of Five alum, 32, slipped into her strapless lace gown again for the Hallmark Channel holiday movie A Royal Christmas, airing on Saturday, Nov. 22, at 8 p.m. ET.

“She knew she’d have to be a bride in the movie, and she’d never love any wedding dress as much as her own,” a source told Us Weekly.

So naturally, the Mean Girls actress chose to wear one of the two gowns — a strapless lace dress for the ceremony and a sexy mermaid style for the reception — from her own holiday wedding. The winning look for the film, also starring Jane Seymour, is the ceremony option, a lacy confection featuring a sweetheart neckline.
Chabert married boyfriend Dave Nehdar in Los Angeles over the holidays in 2013. “To be surrounded by so much love, was truly all I could have dreamed of and more!” she wrote on her blog in January.
