Almost every time Kate Bosworth is photographed, she ends up in this gallery. That’s because we like to take notes on what she’s wearing so we can than shop her looks. And the actress, who has already branched into the clothing and accessories markets with Topshop and Jewelmint, is now stepping into footwear territory.

Bosworth’s collaboration with Matisse, which features 20 different styles including sandals, clogs and mules, will debut at Nordstorm, Revolveclothing.com and other retailers in March in time for “festival” season. And the star has shared some insight on her exciting new collaboration.
“For me, it’s important to translate a feeling when I design a shoe and the woman I think of,” Bosworth told WWD. “They can transition you from a work environment like in my own life to a cool cocktail event. They’re directional enough that they stand alone as a fashion piece. They’re comfortable enough that you can wear them around all day.”

And of course some of her shoes are just plain fun, not to mention, Coachella-ready. Like a pair of blue ankle booties decorated with silver stars (see above), which were inspired by the Dallas Cowboys (her close friend’s family owns the team!).
“Each pair has a story,” she said. “I feel I can express myself with a hint instead of screaming for attention.”
And while some of the designs may be a bit out-of-the-box, Bosworth maintains her shoes are, most importantly, easy to walk in.
“The truth is, shoes have to be wearable and functional,” she shared. “There are some women who wear 7-inch stilettos and run around. That’s not me. That’s not the collection. I want to feel comfortable and also very fashionable in my life.”
