Summit Entertainment has hired McG to direct the cop drama Puzzle Palace, which we first reported on in March 2010.
Safe House writer David Guggenheim penned the script, which centers on a young man who breaks into a police station to steal evidence, and finds himself locked in the station with a bunch of corrupt cops.
Wyck Godfrey and Marty Bowen will produce for Temple Hill Entertainment, with Adam Kolbrenner executive producing.
No production schedule was given for Puzzle Palace.
Puzzle Palace comes to theaters in 2012. The film is directed by McG.
