Emily Maynard and Jef Holm are gearing up for their big day.
The Bachelorette lovebirds are planning to walk down this aisle this spring, reports Life & Style. The couple, who recently moved in together in Charlotte, N.C., is already knee deep in wedding preparations — and for Maynard, that means finding the perfect dress.
“It’s been so easy,” she said. “I’ll show Jef the ugliest thing in the world, and he’ll be like, ‘Whatever you want, I want.’”
As for the wedding itself?
It turns out the former Bachelorette – and soon-to-be Mrs. Holm — has been planning her dream wedding since she was a teen.
“I have an idea of what the whole thing is going to look like,” she said. “I’m just glad I found the guy. The rest will come.”
Despite meeting her future husband on a reality TV show, Maynard plans to keep things traditional.
“Even though I went on The Bachelor and The Bachelorette, I’m pretty traditional, believe it or not,” she recently told Ryan Seacrest on his KIIS-FM radio show.
“So, yeah, for sure,” she said of one day becoming Emily Holm.
Despite being accused of cheating on Holm in August — a claim that she has since denied — Maynard isn’t going to let that take away from her big day.
“He’s my best friend and we’re together all the time,” she told Wetpaint in September. “That’s my mentality. People are going to say things no matter what, but I think time will show it doesn’t mean anything.”
“We’re people and we’re striving to do our best,” Holm added. “But we’re like anyone else in the word, we’re not perfect. But we’re happy, we’re extremely happy.”
