This week, Gwyneth Paltrow was declared the most stylish woman in the world by PEOPLE magazine — and looking back at her fashion highlights, it’s not hard to see why.
From plunging necklines to daring designer dresses, Paltrow, 39, has pulled off every demure look in the book, and she’s done it all with grace and style.
So, how did the Oscar-winning actress win the celebrated title over such competitors as, say, the Duchess of Cambridge?

When it comes to picking out the perfect outfit, the mother-of-two insists that less is more.
“She doesn’t do fringe,” said Paltrow’s stylist, Elizabeth Saltzman. “She has a uniform. It’s simple, not overdone.”
Kate Middleton was also featured on the list, which also included a host of young celebrities, including Emma Stone, 23, Rihanna, 24 and Victoria’s Secret model, Miranda Kerr, 29.
The celebrity magazine compiled the list based on input from its millions of readers, editors and fashion bloggers.
