X Factor finally premiered on Wednesday night, yet The Voice triumphed overall with the ratings. More fans apparently wanted to see the chemistry between judges Christina Aguilera, Adam Levine, and CeeLo Green.
But you wouldn’t have predicted that outcome if you went by what some of the biggest stars in Hollywood said Britney Spears on her big day — “#GoodLuckBritney” was even a trending hashtag on Twitter.
How did the Biebs, Madge, and other celebs show support?
The morning of her big day, Justin Bieber tweeted:
“shoutout to @LA_Reid and @BritneySpears who i heard from about #XFACTORUSA tonight. looking forward to it. I might show up this season ;)”
Spears apparently has a new nickname too.

Of course, the pep talk would not have been complete without an offering from her mentor Madonna – who shared a picture of the two on her Facebook with the caption:
“Britney Spears – wishing you luck tonight on your X-Factor debut!! #GoodLuckBritney”
