Lindsay Lohan has reportedly taken aim at Amanda Bynes after the Nickelodeon star had her car impounded Sunday morning while driving on a suspended license.
In a series of angry tweets, Lohan, 26, appeared to be upset with the way Bynes — who has had a number of run-ins with the law since April — has been treated by the police, going as far as to compare it to her own troubled past.
“Why did I get put in jail and a nickelodeon star has had NO punishment(s) so far? +” Lohan tweeted late Sunday evening.
“These are the moments that I appreciate my life experiences, living without regrets and Disney for supporting me as an actress-night all*” she continued.
In reality, Lohan’s complaints are a little skewed. In fact, Bynes currently faces three charges: one DUI and two counts of misdemeanor hit-and-run for incidents occurring on April 6, 10 and August 4, respectively.
She’s due in court on Sept. 21. If convicted, she could face up to six months in prison and a $1,000 fine.
Bynes, 26, was pulled over by police at 8:20AM on Sunday. Her car was subsequently impounded after police discovered her license had been suspended.
“Her car was impounded and she received a misdemeanor citation,” the officer confirmed. “She was not arrested. I believe she was by herself. This occurred on Hollywood Way, just south of the main entrance to the Bob Hope Airport,” Victor Gill of the Burbank Airport Police said shortly after the incident occurred.
Lohan, meanwhile, has faced a number of arrests and imprisonment in her her career. She was finally released from formal probation on March 29.
