Nicki Minaj Joins ‘American Idol’: The Singer’s 14 Famous Alter Egos (GALLERY)

It’s been confirmed that Nicki Minaj – along with season newcomers Keith Urban and Mariah Carey – will be the newest judge on American Idol, but which of her famous personas will actually make a appearance on the show?

Over the years, Minaj has channel many alter egos to create new and exciting songs and music styles. From the vulgar and violent “Roman Zolanski” to his prim and proper mother “Martha,” the 29-year-old rapper as assumed many identities in order to spit out some crazy rhymes.

Which of these personalities may come out at the judging table?

For one, Nicki’s “Roman” persona is certainly not camera shy. At the 2012 Grammys, Minaj stunned the crowd with an elaborate performance of her track “Roman Holiday,” in which the singer performed an onstage exorcism to rid herself of her foul-mouthed persona.

On Sunday, Fox announced that Minaj — and just Minaj — willing be joining the judging panel on the 12th season American Idol.

“Nicki’s an unbelievably captivating international phenomenon who has made an indelible mark on rap and pop,” FOX’s president of alternative Mike Darnell said in a statement.

However, the word’s still out of Minaj’s other alter egos will make appearance throughout the series.
