Eva Longoria has found love on the football field.
The former Desperate Housewives star confirmed to Extra last week that she is currently dating New York Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez.
“Mark and I are, you know, fine,” she said, when probed by host and close friend Mario Lopez. “We’re happy just dating.”
However, the 37-year-old isn’t the first leading lady to land herself a footballer.
From Jessica Simpson to new mom Kristin Cavallari, many of Hollywood’s hottest starlets caught the love bug during an NFL Game.
Simpson famously found love with Dallas Cowboys’ Tony Romo in 2007 before getting engaged to baby daddy and current free agent Eric Johnson.
Meanwhile, Cavallari is currently linked to Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler, who recently welcomed his first child with the former Hills star in August. The couple is currently in the stages of planning their dream wedding, though the new baby proves to be slowing down the process.
“I mean we’re talking about it a little bit, but for the most part it’s still put on hold,” Cavallari told Celebuzz in April. ”[I’m] still not feeling rushed.”
