Katy Perry Mixes Prints in Tokyo: Love It or Leave It? (PHOTOS)

Is this the wrong way to wear prints?

Pop superstar Katy Perry, 27, donned a blouse full of opposing patterns as she arrived at Narita International airport in Tokyo, Japan on Monday.

There to promote her famed flick Katy Perry: Part of Me, the songstress was definitely in the right place for taking a fashion risk, as Tokyo is considered to be one of the most fashion-forward cities in the world.

But did her outfit work or was it a total fashion faux pas?

Complete with a Peter Pan collar, bright blue sleeves and yellow pockets, Perry’s top was paired with fitted jet black slacks and a green satchel – a far cry from her famed plunging necklines and high hems.

Hiding behind a pair of cool shades and sporting a smirk, she seemed to be in a chipper mood despite her reported split with song artist John Mayer, 34.

Do you think the shirt was overwhelming or was totally fab? Take our poll and weigh in below.
