Mindy Kaling is about to become a household name thanks to her new FOX series The Mindy Project, a quirky new comedy that already has people calling her the “new New Girl.”
Known mostly for playing the ditzy, yet always hilarious, Kelly Kapoor on The Office, the 33-year-old writer-actress is stepping into leading lady territory for the first time with her latest venture, in which she plays a lovelorn doctor trying to craft a real-life version of a Nora Eprhon movie.
