You’ve already seen the A-list lineup for the PEOPLE Magazine Awards. Now it’s time to hear from some of the night’s big attendees, like Karlie Kloss!

Kloss showed off her glowing supermodel skin as her glam squad rushed to finish up her look before the red carpet. Curious about her updo? It’s the work of hairstylist Giannandrea. “The hair inspiration tonight is undone goddess,” the mane master tells PEOPLE. “A modern, texturized, effortless updo.”
As for her outfit, Kloss told PEOPLE it’s actually a two-piece. “It’s a Zac Posen bodice and a Marchesa skirt. The detail on this [skirt] is gorgeous.”
The star also dished on her bestie Taylor Swift, sharing, “I’m a lucky girl. She’s a good friend.”

Her highlights of the year include New York Fashion Week and landing the September cover of Vogue. (NBD.) And if you’re dying to know the favorite thing in her closet, we found that out too. “I have these amazing leather boots and pants in one. The Tamara Mellon ones. They’re amazing. She made them custom for my long legs.” (Yes, Kim Kardashian happens to have them too.)
