If you’ve ever gotten dressed for a holiday party and thought, “if only I had a pair of fur-lined heels to wear with this outfit,” your footwear fantasy has become a reality.

The patron saint of fashion over function (remember this latex look? and her center-cleavage ensembles?), Kim Kardashian, went to dinner with husband Kanye West in Brentwood, California Thursday sporting Céline suede sandals with fluffy tufts of rabbit fur lining the soles. She paired the stilettos with a mauve mock turtleneck and a sleek black knit pencil skirt, plus a long black coat worn “fashion cape” style over her shoulders, an ensemble that is consistent with her latest wardrobe phase.

To say nothing of the ethical issues about fur, here in the PEOPLE offices, we have mixed feelings about Kim’s sandals. On one hand, we’re sure the sole situation is even softer than Ugg boots. But unless Kim’s had the sweat glands on her feet removed (and we wouldn’t be surprised if she did), fur soles seem like they’d cause a perspiration problem, and if you’ve ever smelled damp fur then you know how un-chic that situation would be.
Either way, one thing is fur sure: you find these on anyone else’s Christmas wish list — partly because the shoes can’t be found online, and partly because we’re pretty sure Kanye bought every pair to ensure that his wife’s style stays unique.
