You don’t have to be a bride to wear a wedding dress these days — just an awards show attendee. Laverne Cox stepped out in a Johanna Johnson gown at the SAG Awards, a look which happened to be from the designer’s spring 2015 bridal collection.

The Orange is the New Black star’s dress was altered slightly from the runway version to include a more dramatic train. She teamed the look with a tons of Forevermark diamonds and a goddess-like crown plait.
Cox follows in Kristen Wiig’s wedding-dress-wearing footsteps. The actress went for a boho bride feel, selecting a off-the-shoulder satin chiffon gown from French designer Delphine Manivet’s spring 2015 Pagan Bride collection. The Amedee style features a soft floral pattern, and we could totally see an Olsen twin getting married in the look one day.

Cox and Wiig’s bridal moments reminded us of one of our favorite wedding dresses to hit the carpet — the Marchesa gown Kate Hudson wore to the 2010 Golden Globes. From the asymmetrical neckline to the long train (which Hudson had to hold because of the rain that year), it was definitely a statement that year. (Those shoes, however, bad choice.)
