Nearly twenty years since taking the Disney Channel by storm, Britney Spears is still a Mouseketeer at heart.
During the mid-’90s, before she became one of the best-selling singers of all time, Spears was performing — alongside fellow future stars Christina Aguilera, Justin Timberlake and Ryan Gosling — on The Mickey Mouse Club. And even after over 100 million album sales worldwide, a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and the MTV VMA Lifetime Achievement Award, the Grammy-winning singer honors the show that gave her start.
The “Hold It Against Me” singer proudly wore a Mickey and Minnie Mouse tee — paired with Victoria’s Secret PINK sweats and sneakers — as she stepped out in Los Angeles, Calif., this past weekend.
Away from her X Factor judging duties, Spears was soaking up some downtime. “I work out. I swim. I play with the kids,” Spears told Luckymagazine’s December issue, regarding her spare time. There’s also quality time with sons Sean, 7, and Jayden, 6. “We play Connect Four. We play Candy Land,” she said.” [And] I cook and I garden.”
But the performer may soon have a little less leisure time. Spears is in talks to pen a semi-autobiographical novel — her second tome, after 2001′s A Mother’s Gift— through It Books, an imprint of HarperCollins.
