Do Taylor Swift and Rihanna have the same taste in men?
The pop-country sweetheart recently told Harper’s Bazaar what she looks for in a man — and no, it’s not a drawer full of plaid shirts. When a man fails to take the reins, Swift tends to lose interest.
“It needs to be equal,” she said. “If I feel too much like I’m wearing the pants, I start to feel uncomfortable and then we break up.”
She added: “Relationships are the ultimate collaboration but it’s wonderful to hand over the reins to your boyfriend when you control so much of these big, high-pressure decisions, you know? That is a huge defining factor in who you choose to be with.”
But Swift is the only starlet who wants her man to take control. Pop star Rihanna recently chatted with GQ, and when the topic turned toward relationships, the Bajan beauty revealed she likes a man who takes the lead.
“I like to feel like a woman,” she confessed. “I have to be in control in every other aspect of my life, so I feel like in a relationship, like I wanted to be able to take a step back and have somebody else take the lead.”
Rihanna has previously been linked to both Drake and Chris Brown. The two men got into a physical altercation last June at a New York City nightclub. Reports suggested the fight broke out over Rihanna. However, the “Diamonds” singer wants nothing to do with that celebrity feud.
“There’s no proof of that being for my love,” she told the magazine.
