Both clad in blue-hued tartan prints, pregnant Ashlee Simpson and her husband, Evan Ross, stepped out to breakfast at La Conversation in Hollywood on Monday, Feb. 9.

The former pop star, 30, bundled up her baby bump in the azul button-up, which she paired with a camel coat, distressed jeans, and a Givenchy messenger bag. Patent booties and tortoise-shell shades completed her ensemble.

With a minimally made-up face and sleek tresses, Simpson—who is already a mom to Bronx, 6, with ex-husband Pete Wentz—was simply glowing as she entered and exited the restaurant.
Less than one week before, her rep confirmed that Simpson was expecting a baby girl with the Hunger Games actor/son to Diana Ross.

“I like to know [the gender]—I want to do the nursery,” Simpson, who found out that she was expecting last Thanksgiving, told reporters. She added, “I’m just excited for the new addition!”

And there are no complaints from Bronx about having to share his toys with a little lady. “I told him [that I was having a girl] pretty early on,” Simpson explained. “He wanted to have a sister, so he’s really excited! He’s got a little brother [Saint Lazslo, Wentz’s 5-month old son with girlfriend Meagan Camper]. Now he’s going to have a little sister!”
