In their second official appearance since getting engaged, Jennifer Aniston and fiancé Justin Theroux are still totally in sync.
Stepping out at the 26th American Cinematheque Award Gala, Aniston and Theroux chicly coordinated in black and white: While he wore a traditional tuxedo with a bowtie, the actress stunned in head-to-toe Valentino as she flashed her best accessory — her radiant-cut solitaire engagement ring.
Along with Jack Black, Will Ferrell, Tom Cruise and others, the couple helped honor pal Ben Stiller at the Beverly Hilton Hotel event Thursday night, as the American Cinematheque tipped its hat to the comedian for his significant contribution to the film industry.
Theroux — who shared writing duties with Stiller for the comedy Tropic Thunder — took the stage to show a comedic clip in tribute to his longtime pal. Aniston’s hubby-to-be is actually back to collaborating with Stiller, as Theroux pens the screenplay for the upcoming sequel to Zoolander.
And when Aniston appeared before the crowd, she introduced a montage of her Along Comes Polly co-star’s best romantic comedy scenes. “His package is surprisingly large,” she joked, according to E!. “Very expansive, and its lasting power speaks for itself.”
The man of the night said he was humbled by the American Cinematheque’s award. “It’s really nice to be asked to be honored like this,” Stiller said. “It’s kind of bizarre. I feel grateful but also unworthy of the whole thing.”
