HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — CNN’s Anderson Cooper is creating buzz after being photographed Tuesday with Benjamin Maisani in Jaipur, India.
The pair were seen hanging out at the posh Rambagh Palace hotel, where Cooper is reportedly staying in a $3,200-a-night room.
“Anderson’s room has a large round bathtub. On the first night it was filled with bubbles and sprinkled with red rose petals,” a source told the New York Post.
In 2007, Out magazine ranked Anderson as the second most powerful gay man in America, but he has previously declined to discuss details of his private life for the sake of his career.
“The whole thing about being a reporter is that you’re supposed to be an observer and to be able to adapt with any group you’re in, and I don’t want to do anything that threatens that,” he once told New York Magazine.
Maisani owns the Eastern Bloc bar in New York City’s East Village.
