Brady Quinn Chop Block Video: Cleveland Browns quarterback Brady Quinn is still catching heat for his chock block on Baltimore’s Terrell Suggs during Monday night’s game which seriously injured the Ravens star.
Quinn threw the chop block at Suggs after an interception in the third quarter, rolling into the linebacker’s right knee.
“I was trying to go for the ball carrier,” Quinn said after the game. “Suggs came across at the last second in my vision. I would never wish that upon anyone. I was upset about it on the field. We worked out in Arizona together. I couldn’t be any more sorry about that. That was never the intent. I’m sorry to Terrell and the rest of their team.”
Suggs is expected to be out at least several weeks with what has been described as a severe MCL sprain.
On Wednesday, the NFL fined Quinn a reported $10,000 for the chop block.
