If you’ve ever wanted to wear every color of the rainbow, now’s your chance. Bloomingdale’s is teaming up with Crayola to create a crazy, colorful store-wide collection, featuring designers, including Rebecca Minkoff and Nanette Lepore, inspired by a big box of crayons. And then they had the bright idea to have designers make one-of-a-kind creations out of the crayons themselves.

For the store’s spring campaign, each of the participating designer (think Rebecca Taylor, Cynthia Rowley, Parker and Clover Canyon) to name a few, were assigned a Crayola color (Midnight Blue, Illuminating Emerald, Mango Tango and more) to create a custom, one-of-a-kind design in the classic colors from the art brand to “tell an impactful visual story.”

After the colorful dresses came to life, the designers were then asked to create life-size, crayon-assembled figures of their designs as well, which shows just how creative the artists had to get! Taylor put together a bustier, while Lepore constructed an overlay of lace — using only crayons!

“This has been one of the most fun projects I’ve worked on. I am in awe of our incredible designer partners who rose to the challenge of creating crayon-constructed replicas of their exclusive designs,” Bloomingdale’s exec Brooke Jaffe said in a statement. “The figures capture the playful and fun spirit of Crayola while celebrating our love of color for spring 2015.”
If you happen to be in the N.Y.C. area, the designs will be on display in the Bloomingdale’s flagship store on 59th Street. What do you think of the colorful collab? Is your favorite designer participating?
