Sometimes a runway collection just speaks to you. In the case of Stella Jean Fall 2015 – which was shown at Milan Fashion Week just a few days ago – the collection said a lot. Or rather, it screamed: “Forget minimalism. Why not wear all your printed skirts, striped shirts, plaid wool jackets, paisley pants, and tasseled accessories together? Way more fun.”
And guess what? I’m totally feeling it. The look is eclectic, exotic, and colorful – a feast for the eyes! Which, to be honest, is exactly what we all need after this hellishly cold and superdrab winter.
Best of all, it seems pretty easy to re-create. After all, everyone probably has some pretty similar pieces in their closet already, and the look can be adapted to be worn right now. Here’s how.
