You know how Jessie James Decker feels about all things beauty. (Here’s one of her makeup tutorials to remind you.) Now the star is channeling some of that passion into the fashion world with a new swimsuit collection for Amore & Sorvete. And she knows first hand that when it comes to bikini shopping, the struggle is real.

“I’ve always been that person who’s struggled to find a swimsuit that I love,” she told PEOPLE. “It’s easy to find your favorite T-shirt brand, your favorite jeans. I could just never find my favorite swimsuit line. Then Amore & Sorvete sent me some of their collection a couple of years ago, and I fell in love with the pieces. So I reached out and said I wanted to create a collection of my own.”
Founder of the Australian swimwear label Bridgette Gale flew to Nashville to collaborate with Jessie. “We sat there and designed and went through the entire collection,” she said. “I just wanted the suits to be something I loved and I would wear any time I had the chance.”
And when it came time to model off her creations, Decker had a very special accessory: a baby bump! The star is pregnant with her second child with husband and New York Jets wide receiver Eric Decker. Luckily, she designed matching mommy-and-me suits and her daughter Vivianne Rose (who celebrates her first birthday on March 18) was on hand to model!
“I just thought it would be so adorable to have something she and I can wear together and kind of be like my little mini me, even though she mostly looks like Eric,” Decker shared. “I wanted to do something where we could match and be really cute together. I wanted to make it really feminine and really pretty. I even remember when Vivianne and I were doing the shoot, I had about two different people at the pool say, ‘Oh my god, I’ve never seen that before! Where can we get that?’ So I knew that it was going to be really great for mothers out there.”

Eric’s very supportive of the bikinis, of course
“I mean, a lot of the butt shots, he was like, “Babe! You look good!” He loves them as much as a man can love swimsuits. He’s very excited, and thinks Vivi looks adorable.
Her suits are also supportive
“The ‘Jessie’ suit is my favorite. It comes in gingham blue and the floral. I think I like that because I have bigger boobs and supports me so well. I never have to worry about popping out of it.”
She wears her denim cutoffs whenever she can
“I always love pulling out my cut-offs. They’re just my go-to. They’re the most comfortable. I love that, and I love full summer dresses because I’m all about being comfortable. I’d rather look like a hobo and be super comfortable than wear something not comfortable.”
She’s debuting her first clothing line in June
“I did the photo shoot early for that, so I won’t be showing,” the star said of her Kittenish collection for Kora Rae, which will feature everything from dresses and blazers to flannels and leggings and is “heavily influenced” by her Southern roots. The best part? All pieces are under $200!
