Brandon Davies Girlfriend: Danica Mendivil
BYU forward Brandon Davies was kicked off the Cougars men’s basketball team for having premartial sex, according to the Salt Lake Tribune.
On Tuesday, BYU announced that it was dismissing Brandon Davies for the rest of the season for a violation of the honor code. He reportedly admitted to having sex with his girlfriend when school officials interviewed him.
BYU’s honor code forbids students from having premarital sex and instructs them to "live a chaste and virtuous life."
According to RadarOnline, Brandon Davies’ girlfriend is Danica Mendivil, a freshman volleyball player at Arizona State University.
The Cougars were a different team in Wednesday night’s 82-64 home loss to New Mexico – their first game without Brandon Davies and just days after they vaulted to No. 3 in the ESPN/USA Today and AP polls.
