Cat lovers, get your wallets ready. Chanel Creative Director Karl Lagerfeld’s close bond with his beloved kitty Choupette Lagerfeld is being celebrated in the latest capsule collection for the designer’s eponymous line — and it’s pretty purrfect.

French artist Tiffany Cooper sketched animations of the famous father-cat duo on an imagined “summer road trip” (think Karl and Choupette on an island in hula skirts or eating giant ice cream sundaes together). The drawings appear on tees, sweatshirts and even accessories (cat-shaped wallets, Karl-inspired purses and black-and-white phone cases). The collection ranges from $50 to $200 at StyleBop.com. Cooper said she was inspired by the strong connection Lagerfeld has with his feline friend.
This isn’t the first time Choupette served as his muse. Last November, she made a guest appearance on some of her dad’s pieces in his “Monster Choupette” collection, and she also has her very own beauty line with Shu Uemura!

“She is like a human being, but the good thing is that she’s silent. You don’t have to discuss it,” Lagerfeld told The Cut of his cat. “She hates other animals and she hates children. She stays always with me and she has two personal maids. They play with her, they have to take care of her beautiful white hair, the beauty treatments for her eyes, and they entertain her. She is the center of the world. If you saw her, you would understand. She is kind of Greta Garbo. There is something unforgettable about her, the way she moves, the way she plays. She’s an inspiration for elegance. For attitude.”
She also has a flush bank account. “She did two jobs and made 3 million euros last year,” Lagerfeld added. “One was for cars in Germany and the other was for a Japanese beauty product. I don’t allow her to do foodstuffs and things like this. She’s too sophisticated for that.”
