Many fashionable women refer to their outfits as their suit of armor, but at the Avengers: Age of Ultron premiere in L.A., Elizabeth Olsen (who plays the Scarlet Witch in the movie) took that metaphor one step further.

Of the high-shine golden collar around her neck, Olsen, 26, joked that it was keeping her superpowers in check. “It’s stopping me from going into everyone’s minds tonight,” she said. “It’s the chain I put around my neck. And at the moment I start to go into someone’s mind, I get zapped!”
The rest of her outfit got merits for being “casual and easy to wear,” she said. “I go for, ‘Am I going to feel like myself in a dress? Do I feel confident as me?’ Instead of, like, a dress wearing me.”

Olsen has lightened up her locks considerably since her last big red carpet outing, but don’t expect her to become the kind of star who shares major mane changes on Instagram. She’s not looking to get social media anytime soon (but not just for the reasons you think).

“If I were ever hacked, it would only be hundreds and hundreds of videos of me lip syncing in my car,” she says, blushing. “If I did [have an Instagram], that would be the only thing on it.”
Wait, sorry: Lip syncing in your car? “I send [the videos] to others — there’s a group of maybe 12 people, and everyone gets one. And it’s been going on for a couple years,” she says. “It’s a whole other skill.”
