Just when we were starting to get used to Shia LaBeouf‘s interesting new braided rattail style (that’s a lie, we’ll never get used to it), the actor is switching up his mane game once again, now adding a shaved mohawk into the mix.

The 28-year-old actor first debuted his rattail in March, which he wore in a long braid down his back. Of course, this sparked many questions about the look — Is it for a role? Is it a joke? Does he braid his rattail himself? Seriously, why?
But now, it seems as though LaBeouf has shaved one side of his head, adding dimension to his already head-turning style. And to complete his look, the actor has also shaved his beard, leaving behind only a hint of stubble.

Again, we’re not sure why LaBeouf has decided to rock a mohawk-rattail hybrid like it’s 1985, but no judgement here — just curiosity.
