‘Jumanji’ Finds Writer; Who Should Play Kirsten Dunst’s Character in The New Remake? (PHOTOS)

Kirsten Dunst was a mere 13 years old when she took on the role of Judy in 1995 blockbuster fantasy adventure Jumanji.

Now, nearly two decades later, the Robin Williams classic is getting a remake.

On Thursday, Zach Helm, whose previous works include Stranger Than Fiction and The Secret Life of Walter Mitty, was officially named as Jumanji’s writer, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The remake, which will receive “an update for the present,” will soon be on the lookout for young talent to play the kids who discover the board game, and of course, the man (Williams) who’s set free after being trapped inside the game for years.

Celebuzz is taking a look at some of Tinseltown’s young and talented actresses who could play Dunst’s character.

There are some fairly new faces, including The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn star Mackenzie Foy, who played Edward and Bella’s half-human half-vampire daughter in the final two films.

There’s also 9-year-old Quvenzhane Wallis, who’s been receiving Oscar buzz for her debut role in Beasts of the Southern Wild.
