Amber Tamblyn Joins ABC Series ‘The Unusuals’

HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Amber Tamblyn has landed the leading female role in the upcoming ABC series “The Unusuals,” according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The new show is a dramedy set at a New York police station. Tamblyn will portray Detective Casey Shraeger, a smart cop who is also the black sheep of her well-off family, the Reporter says.

HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Amber Tamblyn has landed the leading female role in the upcoming ABC series “The Unusuals,” according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The new show is a dramedy set at a New York police station. Tamblyn will portray Detective Casey Shraeger, a smart cop who is also the black sheep of her well-off family, the Reporter says.

The 25-year-old actress rose to fame on the ABC soap opera General Hospital, which she starred on from 1995-2001.

She most recently appeared on the small screen in the CBS series “Joan of Arcadia.”

Since her arrival, Tamblyn has branched out into several film roles over the years, including “The Ring,” in which she starred alongside Naomi Watts.

The young star has several movies on the way, including “Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2,” “Safety Glass,” “Spring Breakdown,” and “Beyond a Reasonable Doubt.”
