Kattan, 37, proposed to the 31-year-old model on Christmas Eve 2006.
“Originally I was going to do something very special,” the former “Saturday Night Live” cast member previously joked to People about his proposal. “I tried to get Bono of U2 to serenade her. That didn’t happen. Then I asked Justin Timberlake. No answer. After hundreds of phone calls and text messages, I finally ended up asking one of the members of the Hanson group. He didn’t want to get involved.”
Kattan starred on “SNL” from 1996-2003, bringing laughs to audiences with such characters as Mango and Mr. Peepers.
The Sherman Oaks, Calif. native, who started his career as a member of the improv/sketch comedy troupe The Groundlings in Los Angeles, recently completed shooting on the upcoming feature comedy, “Hollywood and Wine.”
