HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Dixie Chick Martie Maguire has welcomed a baby girl.
Harper Rosie Maguire was born Friday in Austin, Texas. She weighed in at 7 pounds, 10 ounces and was 20.5 inches long, according to People magazine.

Harper Rosie Maguire was born Friday in Austin, Texas. She weighed in at 7 pounds, 10 ounces and was 20.5 inches long, according to People magazine.
“Martie is doing very well and Gareth and the family are over the moon,” read a statement posted on the country band’s Web site.
The baby is the third child for the 38-year-old singer and her husband, Gareth Maguire, 33. They are already proud parents to 4-year-old twin girls, Eva Ruth and Kathleen Emilie.
The couple, who met at fellow bandmate Natalie Maines’ sister’s wedding, were married Aug. 10, 2001 in Hawaii.
With the birth, the Dixie Chick family has now expanded to eight. Emily Robinson has three children, while Maines has two, which could mean the Dixie Chicks will have some competition in the not too distant future.
“We’ll have to move over and let the little chicks take over! We’ve got a new band!” Maguire previously joked.
